Horizon
The national newsletter of the Huntington Society of Canada is issued electronically three times per year (Spring, Fall and Winter) to those who have signed up. Its purpose is to convey information to individuals with Huntington disease (HD) and their families, health care professionals, friends and supporters. Click here for recent editions.
Strength and Knowledge
Every other month, HSC publishes Strength and Knowledge (S&K), a practical guide for helpful information and assistance for those who are managing HD; highlighting the Family Services department recommended care, where to find help, who to connect with, and what advocacy efforts are currently underway. Topics of interest such as talking to children about HD, swallowing, managing anxiety are addressed in S&K. Click here for recent editions.
In The Know
In The Know (ITK) is HSC’s brief, monthly overview highlighting what is going on in the HD Community. In an effort to ensure we notify the HD Community of recent developments or up to the date ITK is distributed on or around the 15th day of each month. Click here for recent editions.
In an effort to expand our services to HD families, and to the general public, our publications are available to download. The Huntington Society is a charitable organization dependent on public support. A donation of any amount to the Society would help us to continue to make publications such as the ones listed here available to the public.
