Amaryllis Campaign

Grow a brighter future with our national Amaryllis Campaign!

*The 2018 Amaryllis Campaign has wrapped up after a highly successful campaign thanks to our incredible volunteers! Watch this space in the upcoming months for information about the 2019 Amaryllis Campaign.*

Get involved in the campaign by using our resources!

The Amaryllis is the signature flower of the Huntington Society of Canada.  Our Amaryllis volunteers sell bulb kits to raise vital funds for our programs in research, services and education. Each year, around 20,000 amaryllis bulbs bloom coast to coast, across Canada, inspiring hope of a world free of Huntington disease (HD). Since 1985, HSC’s volunteers have raised well over five million dollars in support of HD.

Amaryllis kits are priced at $15 and contain one high-quality orange sovereign bulb, growing instructions, soil, pot and saucer, and is packaged in an attractive gift box. Bulbs can be planted immediately or stored in a cool, dry place for holiday gifts. They come in a box with 12 kits per box and are shipped free across Canada. Orders can be made at anytime, with delivery dates from October to December.

Gorgeous orange-red blooms will appear approximately 6-8 weeks after planting. Each kit we sell brings us one step closer to finding a meaningful treatment for Huntington disease. Every Amaryllis bulb blooming in someone’s home or business holds the promise of a world free from HD.

Thank you for your tremendous and continuing support and all you are doing to Inspire Hope!
