Registration information for clients of HSC:

• For all groups, please register here: https://contactme.cloud/form/huntingtonsociety
• To register for a specific group, please select it from the drop-down box titled “reason”
• Groups are listed in alphabetical order by name
• Links for virtual meetings or specific address details will be sent following registration
• If there is no registration deadline listed, you can register anytime!
• If you’ve attended a group before and the facilitator knows you’re returning, there is no need to register again. We are expecting you!

1) Vancouver Island Carers Support Group

Who is this for: Family and friends supporting someone with HD 

2) BC Persons Living with HD Support Group (PM) 

• Third Tuesday of every month, 5:00 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. PT 
• September to June 
• Facilitated by Quinn Mykyte (BSW, RSW) and Jaclynn Phillips (BSW) 

Delivery: Virtual  

Who is this for: Individuals diagnosed with Huntington disease or who are gene positive 

3) BC Persons Living with HD Social Support Group  

• First Wednesday of every month, 11:15 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. PT  
• September to June  
• Facilitated by Quinn Mykyte (BSW, RSW) and Jaclynn Phillips (BSW)  

Delivery: Virtual  

Who is this for: Anyone impacted by Huntington disease who would like to connect socially  

4) BC Carers Support Group (PM) 

• First Monday of every month, 6:15 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. PT 
• September to June 
• Facilitated by Quinn Mykyte (BSW, RSW) and Jaclynn Phillips (BSW) 

Delivery: Virtual 

Who is this for? Anyone caring for or supporting someone with Huntington disease. 

5) BC Carers Support Group (AM) 

• Third Wednesday of every month, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. PT  
• September to June  
• Facilitated by: Quinn Mykyte (BSW, RSW) and Jaclynn Philips (BSW)  

Delivery: Virtual  

Who is this for? People caring for those with HD  

6) BC HD Community Art Therapy Support Group  

• Second Monday of every month, 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. PT 
• October – June (September supply mailout – requires sign up by end of August) 
• Registration deadline: Aug. 31 
• Facilitated by Jaclynn Phillips (BSW) 

Delivery: Virtual  

Who is this for? This group is open to anyone impacted by Huntington disease, including at-risk individuals, those who are gene-positive, diagnosed individuals, and caregivers. Participants will explore and strengthen skills related to adapting to change, building self-confidence, navigating identity beyond the disease or caregiving role, connecting with themselves and others, accepting support, coping with stress, regulating emotions, and fostering community connection through art. Supplies will be mailed out in September prior to the group start date.
