The Huntington Society of Canada (HSC) is pleased to share our 2025–2026 Annual Report, highlighting a year of progress, partnership and impact for Canadians affected by Huntington disease (HD).
Huntington disease touches far more than the individual living with the disease. It affects families, caregivers, friends, health and social service professionals, long-term care communities and entire networks of people who support those living with HD.
Our Annual Report offers a look at how HSC is working across Canada to meet these needs while advancing our vision of a future without Huntington disease.
Supporting Canadians affected by Huntington disease
Through our Family Services program, HSC provides knowledgeable, compassionate support to people living with HD, family members, caregivers, people who are gene-positive or at risk, and others affected by the disease. Our team connects individuals with information, resources, advocacy, education and practical support throughout the many stages of HD.
HSC also provides support groups, educational resources and connections to specialized HD care, helping individuals and families navigate a complex disease with greater knowledge and support.
Advancing Huntington disease research
Research remains central to HSC’s mission. We invest in Canadian HD research and help advance knowledge that can lead to better treatments and, ultimately, a future free from Huntington disease.
Building a stronger HD community
From Family Services and support groups to advocacy, education, fundraising and research, our work is made possible through the commitment of our community, volunteers, donors, partners and supporters across Canada.
The 2025–2026 Annual Report is an opportunity to reflect on what we have accomplished together and look ahead to the work still to be done.
