Woke up this morning on our only rest day so far, in Leon. We went to mass in the absolutely beautiful cathedral. The pipe organ music spread into the streets. The cathedral has 125 amazing picturesque stained glass windows, and the soaring towers take your breath away.
We then wandered through the narrow streets admiring the many different types of architecture and of course some window shopping. To rest our feet we we had a very leisurely lunch in a little sidewalk cafe. Delicious tapas, great Spanish wine, and people watching.
