Shining Stars

Our Shining Stars virtual tribute wall is a beautiful way for you to honour people in your life who have been touched in some way by Huntington disease (HD). Through the power of the World Wide Web, the Huntington Society of Canada will pay tribute to someone special. You can choose to honour someone living with HD, who is shining with courage and strength in their fight. You can honour someone who does not have a personal struggle with HD but has made an enduring commitment to the fight against HD. You can also honour the memory of someone who is no longer with you.

For a donation of $1,000, we will permanently display the shining star with a loved one’s name and/or short personal message. Many tributes are inscribed with moving and powerful messages, crafted with love and respect. You may also include a photo that will be displayed in perpetuity.

Recognizing your gift

The Huntington Society of Canada is extremely appreciative of those who support our organization and recognizing your contribution is critical in allowing us to say thank you. All donors who gift a cumulative total of $1,000 in a fiscal year (July 1st – June 30th) are recognized in our annual report. We will also recognize you through our website.
