CIHR
The
Huntington Society of Canada (HSC) has an agreement with the Canadian Institute
of Health Research (CIHR) Institute of Neurosciences, Mental Health and
Addiction to advance Huntington disease (HD) research in Canada by fostering
excellence, and attracting and keeping scientists in the field of HD research.
Currently there are three opportunities which are described on the CIHR
website. Applicants interested in pursuing these programs are encouraged to
apply through CIHR.
1. Huntington Society Prize (Open Operating Grant
Competition): To
provide an award to a Canadian researcher in the area of basic biomedical

2. Huntington Society Fellowship: Post Doctoral Fellowship
available for a high scoring applicant in the area of basic biomedical research
in the area of Huntington disease
